Pull The Pin Instagram Promo Video

Concept_

The out of the box idea behind this promotion video is first of all to present the Pull the Pin! game in real life context, showing its interaction with people, then feature quickly the game play and finally call the user to action. The choice of location (Gleisdreieck Park) is based on my aim to show an alternative and positive environment for playing a mobile game and thus attracting a wider range of possible users.

The actress represents a typical young person of the target group who lives in Berlin. She love to play games quite often. Whenever she chills in a park or she moves by public transport from one area to another one or simply when she feels bored. Sometimes she becomes so addicted to hyper casual games such as Pull the Pin that she likes to connect her everyday objects (water bottle) with elements of the games she plays.

The colorful balls are chewing gum which the person eats/drinks and makes the metaphorical transition from the real world to the game representing the process of downloading and playing the game simple and fast.

Potentially in the future this idea of bringing the game to real life, converting the elements to subjects in the real world could be adjusted further to a whole promotion campaign of Popcore’s games of course always according to the already existing marketing strategy.

There have been three major changes/improvements in the game:
1. Screen Transition (0:00:07)
- Moving screen to the left with motion blur effect

2. Confetti (0:00:13)
- 2D Element Explosion with Particular Plug In

3. Confetti sound (0:00:13)
- Replace the existing sound with a confetti shotgun audio effect including
equalizer adjustments
